Ganoderma multipileum

Fruits best between 70-85°F but will grow (albeit slowly!) as low as the 50s. Takes months to grow to maturity and can be done mostly within a grow bag. This species tends to make more antlers and impressive shapes than the Red Reishi I offer. The photo series below is of the same block over time.

2-3 weeks growth from full colonization, antlers forming in vitro.

5-6 weeks growth from full colonization, antlers forming in vitro (bag was rolled down for photo).

8-9 weeks growth from full colonization, antlers forming in vitro (bag was rolled down for photo).

~14 weeks growth from full colonization, antlers formed in vitro until ~9 weeks, and were grown in monotub since.

All agar wedges are colonized agar pieces cut to fit in a 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tube and are shipped with parafilm. The species is written on the tube.
